What is it: Carpal tunnel syndrome

What is happening:

  • A nerve in the wrist called the  median nerve  is compressed.
  • This affects:
    • Thumb 👍
    • Index finger ☝️
    • middle finger ✌️
    • Half of the ring finger

👉 That’s precisely why those fingers are highlighted in red in the image.

🔥 Symptoms:

  • Tingling or a sensation of “pins and needles”
  • Numbness in those fingers
