First — let’s clear up a myth 👇
Waking up at 3–4 AM is not automatically a spiritual sign, a warning, or something supernatural.
In most cases, it has very normal biological reasons.
Here’s what’s usually happening:
🧠 1️⃣ Stress or Anxiety
Around 3–4 AM, your body temperature and blood sugar naturally drop.
If you’re stressed, your body may release cortisol (the stress hormone) — and that can wake you up.
Common signs:
• Mind racing
• Thinking about problems
• Trouble falling back asleep
😴 2️⃣ Your Sleep Cycle Is Lighter Then
We sleep in 90-minute cycles.
Early morning hours often contain lighter sleep phases, so it’s easier to wake up — even from small noises or body movements.
This is completely normal.
☕ 3️⃣ Caffeine or Late Meals
