How to Make the Cookies

Preheat and prep
Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper. -
Mix the dry ingredients
In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. -

Cream the butter and sugars
In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and fluffy. -
Add the twist
Beat in the pudding mix until blended. Then add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well. -
Combine
Slowly stir in the flour mixture until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips (and nuts, if using). -
Scoop and bake
Drop spoonfuls of dough onto your prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown. -
Cool and enjoy
Let cookies rest for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
